We are a team of passionate, experienced and qualified teachers. We pride ourselves on going the extra mile to ensure that children feel confident, happy and enthused by their learning. Our approach is simple – we make learning fun! Once the foundations are in place, children naturally thrive and to see their confidence grow is an absolute pleasure. We bring our years of experience from the classroom and turn it into exciting and engaging 1:1 or small group sessions.

David Waggott

MathsTutor

I am a qualified and experienced maths teacher, working at a high-performing comprehensive school. I am friendly, patient and professional. I pay attention to how my students are doing and adjust pace and challenge accordingly to build confidence. I have been teaching maths for 20 years to all abilities at KS3, GCSE and A-Level, including Further Maths. I have also taught Statistics and Engineering. Over the years I have successfully tutored students in-person and on-line for GCSE, A-Level and Further Maths.

I like to ensure the foundations are solid before building on that understanding, going at a pace that builds confidence while providing challenge. I am always patient and I believe that everyone can do maths, given time and determination. I know how important it is to recall prior learning, and build this into the structure of my lessons.

I am happy to work with students on particular problems, or build a program that covers the whole curriculum. I am flexible when it comes to setting homework - as much or as little as requested.

I have experience of all the major exam boards. I make sure my teaching meets the specification, and practice is matched to the requirements of the exam.
